Hi all,

We all know that we are quite an international group, but a picture always speaks better!

Grant Writing: Resources & Seminar

Hi fellow New Investigators,

During the roundtables in Budapest in October and also in our members survey in December, a lot of members expressed their interest (and plans) concerning grant proposals.

If this sounds familiar, these two articles might be of interest to you. I recently discussed these articles with my lab, and we found they contained very useful information regarding what reviewers take into account when assessing a grant proposal and nice tips from experienced researchers.

If you are willing to devote a date to learn more about grant writing, you might be also interested in the NIH Workshop/Seminar about Grant Writing, Jan 18, 2013 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. There will be a real time videocast of the seminar, for those not in the area.

Writing an appealing grant proposal is definitely not an easy job, If you have experience with that and would like to share tips, resources, or experiences we can definitely learn from each other!

Have a wonderful 2013!
